Two lost life in road accident

AHMEDABAD: In two different incident of road accident, two person lost their life in the city.
In the first incident, a Daskroi resident has filed a complaint against a bike rider for running over his nephew. Complainant Hari Vadi said that the incident had occurred when he was on a visit to his relatives in Satellite area. He along with his relatives was passing by Satyam Status when a biker came from the rear and hit his nephew Arjun Vadi.
Arjun was rushed to VS Hospital where he was declared dead. The biker whose identity could not be ascertained fled after the incident. A complaint for culpable homicide has been lodged against him with Anandnagar police.
In another incident a woman was killed in a road accident in Vinzol. Police identified the deceased as Anushree Dave, 22. The deceased's father Bharat Dave, a resident of Hathijan, Daskroi, has registered a complaint in this regard.
Dave said that the incident occurred while Anushree was driving a scooter with his mother Sangeeta riding pillion. A truck came from the rear and hit them. The duo was flung off the vehicle. While Sangeeta was seriously injured, Anushree succumbed to her injuries at LG Hospital. Dave has filed a complaint with Vatva GIDC police for the incident.
